Read the claim
Identify what the advert promises. A seller’s statement stays unverified until suitable evidence supports it.
Explore a fictional example of how advert claims become practical seller questions. See how KELNU separates recorded facts, our interpretation and the evidence still needed before you decide.
Our report preview shows a practical sequence: what the seller says, what the available records support, and what you still need to check.
Identify what the advert promises. A seller’s statement stays unverified until suitable evidence supports it.
Keep source wording, dates and unavailable checks visible. Missing information must never be treated as clear.
Ask specific seller questions and take a checklist to the viewing. An assessment must explain its evidence and limits.
Explore a fictional case. No supplier lookup was performed and none of these sample values describe a real vehicle.
This example has no finance, theft or write-off check, so KELNU cannot make a responsible purchase assessment. The illustrative MOT advisory raises a separate question about suspension wear. Ask for repair evidence and complete authorised checks before deciding.
This is KELNU’s interpretation of an illustrative record. In a live report, the separate Source results tab will show the relevant supplier-returned fields, original status wording, source and lookup time. KELNU’s assessment will never replace those results.
Fictional example — no supplier check performed. These cards show the planned separation of source evidence from KELNU’s assessment. They are not Experian results.

A live report will show relevant supplier-returned fields and original status wording with the source and lookup time, without turning a missing or failed check into “clear.” Each Experian-supplied result will be attributed “Data provided by Experian”; KELNU’s interpretation remains in its own section. A purchaser may revisit their dated report, while each new order requires a fresh check. No live supplier data is shown in this sample.
“Front suspension arm pin or bush worn” — example wording only. A real report would show the record date and source.
Repair evidence not available to KELNU — request from seller. Garage invoices and service receipts are not normally part of MOT history.
Resolve the advisory with paperwork and an in-person check before making a purchase decision.
Illustrative wording. Edit it to fit the actual vehicle and evidence.
In the planned service, buyers could share an outcome and optional observations. This preview does not submit or save feedback.
Any future observations would be labelled customer-reported and not independently verified.
Our fictional preview separates the seller’s claim, what the example records support, the question to ask and the evidence still needed. A claim such as “full service history” stays unverified until suitable evidence is reviewed.
Explore advert claims and evidenceFeedback takes around 5–8 minutes. No payment or account is required.
Six practical checks, questions to ask the seller and evidence to request. Use it on your phone or print it for a viewing.
Open the free buying checklistGeneral buying guidance. KELNU live paid checks and ordering remain closed.
Paste a single MOT line for a cautious plain-English reading. This local preview recognises a few common terms; it cannot assess a vehicle or confirm that your input is an authentic MOT record. Your text stays on this page and is not submitted to KELNU.
An explanation will appear here.
Set your preferences and copy a search brief to use on a marketplace of your choice. KELNU does not retrieve adverts, automatically match cars or run live history checks.
These are planned vehicle-history report prices, subject to final scope and costs. Shortlist assistance has no agreed price yet. Paid ordering is not open.
For the car you are seriously considering.
For buyers and families comparing a shortlist.
You can create and copy a search brief. Use your brief to set preferences on a vehicle marketplace of your choice. KELNU does not host adverts, return live matches or run live history checks yet.
No. The planned report service would also be available for a specific car you have already found. Matching preferences and checking vehicle history are different steps.
No. KELNU is decision support based on available information. You should inspect and test-drive the vehicle and seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.
No. A later pass does not by itself establish exactly what work was carried out. Private garage invoices and service receipts are not normally part of the MOT history available to KELNU. Request evidence from the seller.
DVLA and MOT information alone cannot establish those statuses. KELNU is validating licensed provenance sources before launch and will show clearly which checks are available.
In the planned paid service, BUY would mean the completed checks identified no recorded issue sufficient by itself to warrant NEGOTIATE or WALK AWAY. Missing or failed required checks would prevent that assessment. It would not guarantee that the vehicle is fault-free. No live assessment is available in this preview.
Once the programme launches, the planned incentive is one £5 reward per eligible completed paid order. A three-report bundle counts as one order, with a maximum total referral reward of £5. Partner registration, tracking and payouts are not active yet while paid ordering remains closed.
This planned feature will show genuine viewing observations, clearly labelled as customer-reported and not independently verified.
This feature is not active. When it opens, it will remain empty until genuine observations have been submitted and reviewed. Fictional examples are never presented as customer reviews.
